El Salvador Food and Beverage Registrations, Registration in El Salvador.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE PRODUCTS:

  1. Power of attorney for sanitary registration, authenticated either through the consulate of El Salvador or Apostille.
  2. Recently issued free sale certificate which includes the good manufacturing practices, authenticated either through the consulate of El Salvador or by Apostille.
  3. Original Quali-Quantitative formula in descending order, signed by the responsible party.
  4. Authorization document for distribution.
  5. Sample of Products for registration: 6 solid food samples of 200 grams each, 4 liquid food samples of 200 milliliters each.
  6. Original or project labels, in case the original label is not in Spanish, a complementary label must be annexed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DISTRIBUTOR IN EL SALVADOR

  1. Original Taxpayer Identification Number – NIT of the importing Company and / or Distributor and Tax Identification Number of the Legal Representative of the distributing Company in El Salvador.
  2. Valid warehouse operating license for importer / distributor.

REQUIREMENTS AND FEES FOR RECOGNITION OF SANITARY REGISTRATION OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE PRODUCTS FOR MEMBER COUNTRIES OF THE CUSTOM UNION

The requirements for obtaining recognitions in El Salvador, for sanitary registrations of food and beverages, manufactured in Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala are the following:

  1. POWER OF ATTORNEY for sanitary registration which must be according to the model provided, duly notarized and authenticated either by the consulate of El Salvador in the country of origin or by Apostille.
  1. Recently issued Free Sale Certificate in original and photocopy, in a unified format for the Customs Union, issued by the Ministry of Health of the member state of the Customs Union.
  1. Authorization document for distribution.
